Introduction Welcome to the world of cross cultural negotiations. We are always negotiating whether we call it as negotiation or not. In nowadays’s business environment, negotiations range from simple request akin time off from pasture to complex sales.
For this assignment, I brook chosen the North American and Japanese, two diverse and interesting cultures. The thoughts provided on American culture are ground on what I observed in the United States during mavin of my business trip in June 2008. For Japanese, it is based on my low interactions with the Japanese at the Indo-Japan chamber for commerce and Industry, Chennai chapter, on a Joint Venture proposal.
