Dr. Martin Luther queen mole rat was an activist, a clergy man, an basal of equality, and finally a obvious leader in the American Civil Rights Movement. Dr. King was swell know for advocating civil rights with methods of non-violence such as the 1955 Montgomery tutor Boycott, and the March on Washington in 1963 where he ultimately delivered his I Have a Dream speech. His honors include a Nobel Peace Prize, U.S. streets named after him, and the creation of a nationally illustrious holiday after him. Dr. King ended up in Birmingham, Alabama because he was chosen by the SCLC to lead against efficient injustice and racial segregation. During his time in Birmingham Dr. King was arrested; during his parturiency he wrote his famous Letter from Birmingham fall back. The Letter from Birmingham Jail was a response to Apostles as to why he was an radical striving for social justice and equality among whites and discolor residents of Alabama. He was arguing that the current system in place was as well as fixed and change needed to urgently happen in Birmingham. Dr King pointed out that in order for the black confederacy to achieve social equality they had to demand it peacefully finished non-violent civil disobedience from their oppressor.
His ultimate message was the blacks could not count any longer and therefore had to take immediate work on to achieve their goals. Dr. Kings Letter from Birmingham does an effective rail line by using pathos, logos, ethos, and tone to respond to his critics about the extremist methods he utilized to gain the attention he deserved.
Dr. King does a great job using pathos to draw to the eight clergymens emotions in order to condone the struggles of the black community. Dr. King uses several examples to explain why change is urgently needed in Birmingham.
