First of all allow me to begin this instance study by defining exactly what a publicly traded friendship is. A publicly traded company is a public company that has direct contact with the public through its products or daytime to day activities.
1. Choose any 3 publicly traded companies as long as you have at least mavin company that deals with a product and at least unmatched company that deals with a service.
 Based on this definition the three companies that I have chosen for my case assignment are:
(1) Wal-Mart
(2) McDonalds
(3) Starbucks

Next, go to the web site of each company and adjust their annual key to shareholders. You will generally find this in investor or shareholder information. You may need to dig in by several layers before you come to financial statements. If the company has a search feature on its web site, enclose annual report.
The annual report that I effectuate that was close to accurate and up to date was from Wal-Marts home site. The report is 62 pages long and I did not want to record all of the pages.
