Communication in the Workplace

             One of the concepts that I learned a great  plenteousness about this semester is communications. Poor  communication  aro aim lead to  unsafe problems in the workplace.   at that place are so many accidents  that could  adjudge been avoided in the past if proper communication techniques had been used.   Not  yet accidents occur, but poor communication effects the profits of a company.  When poor  communication occurs, it reduces efficiency and creates stress in the workplace.  There are many  techniques that fanny be implemented in a company to improve communication.  The one that I  gear up to be the most useful is briefings.      In most workplaces, it takes a team to  pass the goals of the company.  Briefings are  very effective when  at that place are tasks that need to be done that involve the  square group.  A short  briefing meeting will  overhaul  from each one team member to recognize what their specific responsibilities  are.  It  besides  help oneselfs so that the group can brainstorm how they will accomplish what they are going  to do, and look for any possible problems or dangers that may occur.  I have also found that  when you can  get together as a group you can come up with solutions as a team to  bring to pass the  task faster.



  I learned from a case  reputation in class that 40% of accidents at a Texaco refinery in  Kansas could have been avoided by having briefings.  To me this seems like a cheap  amends  plan.      I work for a company called Hansen Construction..  We do  dark civil, and industrial  construction projects.  Presently , our workers do not  extend briefings before they begin their work  for the day.  I plan to help implement a process by which we can use the technique of briefing to  improve our effectiveness and safety as a company.  When our workers arrive at the  antic site each  day, the first thing they do is go and get their  incision bags out of the storage trailer located on the  job site.  I think it would be useful if our on-site  boss could take 10 minutes and review what ...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
